Li wei's reflections on OCIP orphanage
We had lunch and went to have an enriching time at the orphanage. We went to the orphanage to interact with the children and to donate necessities to them. In the orphanage, there were many children but little helpers and i am sure our help meant something to them! We played with the kids and they enjoyed our companion, soon we have to leave and they were sad and crying. Through this activity, i have learnt how fortunate we are to have parents unlike them who do not have any love from them and learnt to appreciate my parents and that they are really important to a child's growth. I have also learnt how fortunate Singaporeans are to have almost everything we want. The trip to the orphanage was thus a meaningful and fruitful experience!
